Tom Elliott says it’s little wonder hundreds of university graduates struggle to find a job these days.

The 3AW Drive host has scoffed at a “white male privilege” course being run at the University of Melbourne.

“This sort of politically-correct mumbo jumbo nonsense is what’s occupying the minds of our brightest and best at what is supposedly one of our best universities,” he said on Friday.

“I would be absolutely stuffed if I went to university these days.

“I’m white.

“I’m male.

“I have a habit of believing what I say and letting other people know it.

“How are these precious snowflakes at university going to succeed in the real world where you want people who are confident and who speak their mind and tell it like it is?”
