School’s warning after spate of robberies on students in Melbourne’s east
There’s been an alarming spate of robberies of school students in Melbourne’s east.
Neil Mitchell has been sent a copy of a letter sent to Scotch College parents informing them of two students being robbed in separate incidents on Glenferrie Road earlier this month.
Parents Sally and Sophie detailed their heartbreak after their children were assaulted in the same area, stating “this problem has been going on for a really long time”.

The 3AW Mornings host has also been told several Sacre Couer students have been threatened and robbed at Chadstone Shopping Centre and Southland Shopping Centre in recent weeks.

In a statement, police confirmed they’re investigating an armed robbery on the corner of Glenferrie and Gardiner roads on August 7. Police have been told a 16-year-old boy was approached by three male youths wearing ski masks who demanded his phone and produced a knife.
