A study has found politicians lie to us because that’s what we want.
Political marketing guru Dr Andrew Hughes told Tom Elliott it stemmed from people wanting to believe a better life awaited them.
“In a way, we want to believe what they are saying is true,” Dr Andrew Hughes said on 3AW Drive.
