Politicians push back against ‘hard’ version of popular soft drink
Politicians are pushing back against a new alcoholic version of the soft drink Solo was launched in Australia.
Hard Solo, pictured above with the iconic yellow-canned soft drink, has been called into question by Kylea Tink, the Independent member for North Sydney.
“You’ve got to question what is the point of it? If it looks like Solo, tastes like Solo and people are saying they can’t even taste the alcohol – what is the purpose of it, other than to enable an easy way for people to potentially get a bit of a buzz on without having the awareness they’ve actually consumed alcohol,” she told Tom Elliott.
