Police in Ballarat are seeking public assistance to track down a number of stolen World War II medals and a soldier’s uniform.

The victims aged in their 70s returned to their Bunninyong home on Scott Street to discover the items had been stolen in a burglary last month, sometime between July 16 and 30.

A BMW sedan, paintings, jewellery, crystal glassware, and even salt and pepper shakers were also stolen.

Buninyong resident Alastair, who is the son of the victim who had their medals stolen, told Ross and Russ what the medals look like and pleaded for anyone with information to come forward.
