RED HOT TIP CONFIRMED

Earlier this year, Neil Mitchell raised his concern over the state of Southern Cross Station, which the 3AW Mornings host described as “a ghost town”, with more and more stores closing down.

Now, some boarded up shops have been replaced with vending machines offering some unusual items.

“A lot of people are going over to have a look at the machines,” 3AW Mornings producer Katherine Powell told Neil Mitchell.

Phil Boniwell from the ME Group, which operates the vending machine, says they’ve got “great, great hopes” for the machine.
