UPDATE: A teenager has been charged over an attempted home invasion at Keysborough on Saturday morning that was uncovered by 3AW Breakfast’s Rumour File.

A 17-year-old Pakenham male was arrested and charged with aggravated home invasion, attempted armed robbery, theft of a motor vehicle and committing an indictable offence while on bail and will appear before a children’s court at a later date.

It’s alleged four males dressed in black entered a residential property just after 7am.

A 50-year-old woman and 49-year-old man were home at the time.

There were no reported injuries and no items stolen.

• A silver 2007 Mercedes, registration WDF298
