There are fears vital public services will need to be cut as the Andrews Government increases WorkCover premiums.
An analysis of publicly available data by Neil Mitchell program reveals police may need to find an additional $70 million to $100 million this financial year.

Ambulance Victoria, hospitals, fire services and schools will also be hit.
“In private enterprise it’s tough but you can put up prices. These crucial public services can’t put up prices — they have to cope, they still have to provide the service.
“This will cripple them unless the state government funds the tax, gives them extra money.”
