Port Phillip city residents are finding stickers on their bins telling them to move the bins from the street or get fined even though their rubbish hasn’t been collected in weeks due to a mapping glitch.

Port Phillip mayor, Heather Cunsolo, says the fines won’t be enforceable.

“In this instance, it was a reaction to someone’s complaint, but we are very across that this is an extreme situation … this is obviously not enforced at the moment,” she told Neil Mitchell.
