A new initiative has been launched, aiming to get up to 85,000 workers from Melbourne to rural areas of Victoria such as Ballarat, Geelong and Gippsland.

The Regional Australia Institute launched the It’s Your Move campaign yesterday, and the CEO of Rural Doctors Association of Australia Peta Rutherford believes its a “great opportunity” for rural Victoria and for individuals to find the “community that meets their needs”.

But Ms Rutherford does state housing still remains an issue.
