Tony Shaw has given insight into 1990 premiership teammate Darren Millane, after his nephews ran out with the Collingwood side up on the Gold Coast this afternoon.

It’s the first time number 42 has been worn on a Collingwood jersey since his passing in 1991.

“He was a freak player,” Shaw said.
