The Commonwealth Bank is experiencing a major outage.

The bank says customers are “experiencing difficulties accessing some of our services” and it’s urgently investigating the issue.

Caller Mark told Heidi Murphy, filling in for Neil Mitchell, he couldn’t buy food because of the outage.

“You can’t access your own money, you can’t transfer money,” he said. “They cannot tell me anything.”
