Mornington Peninsula home invaded into twice in two days
A Capel Sound woman has had her home invaded twice in two days.
There was a break-in at Erin’s home on Wednesday night, with an intruder damaging the back door and snatching her car keys, house keys and medication.
“She’s called the police and they told her that they’ve got too many burglaries at the moment and could she make her house safe, because the door was broken, you couldn’t shut it,” Erin’s mother Kerrie Rodgers told Neil Mitchell.

“She was told the forensics team would be there for fingerprinting that night but they didn’t turn up so she had to shove stuff up against the door, then at 6am the following morning, so yesterday, she heard her roller door going up … he’d come back.”
During the second home invasion, a man took Erin’s wallet and car.
Ms Rodgers says police tracked down the vehicle yesterday and the driver was taken into custody.
