Australian wine industry on the cusp of major win
Tariffs imposed on Australian wine exports to China in 2020 may soon be lifted as negotiations take place.
Chief Executive of Australian Grape and Wine, Lee McLean, says China’s place in the industry is incomparable due its “size and value”.
Mr McLean told Ross and Russel that sales once surpassed $1.2 billion yearly however there is a chance the industry would “never get back” to where it was.
