V/Line customers have been left frustrated, following a fault on a train from Melbourne to Warrnambool, which left customers stranded in Geelong waiting for a replacement bus for over two hours.

Caller Marlin said there was “little to no information and no real offer to help” and said the issue with the train was the windscreen wipers were smudging the water on the windscreen.

Neil Mitchell said the situation was “absurd” and V/Line had handled the situation “badly”.
