Former Socceroos and current Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has reportedly verbally agreed to become Tottenham’s new manager in the English Premier League.

Chief Football Writer at The Times, Henry Winter, believes “it’s only a matter of time now” before the news becomes official of the Australian’s signing with the north London club.

He also claims there may be an element of “snobbery” about him from the Tottenham faithful, with possibly a bit of English arrogance towards the Scottish league, but he thinks the fans will be won over.
