Why the cost of running a car has jumped faster than inflation
The cost of running a car for the average Melbourne family has jumped faster than inflation, to more than $26,142 a year per household.
Chief Executive of the Victorian Automotive Chamber of Commerce, Geoff Gwilym, has explained why its become more expensive to run a car, and voiced his concerns that people will delay or avoid getting their car serviced.
“Please don’t stop doing the basic things,” Mr Gwilym told Ross and Russel.
