Victoria’s shadow treasurer says the state budget is a “brutal budget” for Victorians.

Paul Guerra, CEO of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce, said landlords and business owners had already been asked to wear the “brunt” of COVID costs.

“There is only so much that they can bear before they pass the cost increases back,” he said.

He said this budget would ultimately be remembered for job cuts and tax hikes.
