Melbourne chef Shane Delia says he feels “embarrassment” and “guilt” after the gourmet delivery business he founded folded with almost $4.4 million in gift vouchers that won’t be honoured.

Providoor, which Delia launched during pandemic lockdowns, went into administration in late April.

Delia claims Providoor was “a healthy business” and its demise isn’t due to mismanagement.
