There’s been a win in a regional Victorian town’s fight to keep bank branches open.

Both the ANZ and Westpac branches in Robinvale were scheduled to close, but after a campaign by Nationals MP for Mildura, Jade Benham, Westpac has opted to keep its branch open.

“I feel like this is a win. It’s not very often we get a big bank or a big corporation to listen to a relatively small … agricultural community … so it’s a huge win!,” she told Neil Mitchell.
