Avid Melbourne Demons supporter Nick Duck has hit out at the parking system at the MCG, deeming it an “absolute disaster” after he was refused entry, even though he had a pre-paid parking ticket.

The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) made the move last week to only allow patrons who have pre-booked with Ticketek into the Yarra Park precinct, a move Neil Mitchell said had “stuff up written all over it”.

Mr Duck drove all the way from Trafalgar in West Gippsland, but was confused when he arrived at the MCG parking entry on Saturday night.

The MCC then released a statement in relation to the parking issues in Yarra Park over the weekend.
