Jewish leader ‘deeply concerned’ Victorian public schools aren’t safe for Jewish students
A Jewish leader fears Victoria’s public schools are becoming “no-go zones” for Jewish students.
Anti-Defamation Commission chairman, Dvir Abramovich, told Neil Mitchell antisemitism in schools is “common” and it’s “spreading like wildfire”.
“I am deeply concerned that we are running out of time before we go over the cliff and public schools are becoming no-go zones for Jewish students,” he said.

It comes after a parent contacted Mr Abramovich about the graffiti in the hall at Sandringham Secondary College after touring the school yesterday.
“They couldn’t believe what they were seeing,” he told Neil Mitchell.
