Brisbane Lions chief Greg Swann admits the drawn-out process to replace Gillon McLachlan as AFL boss has been unusual.

“I wouldn’t have thought it’s normal, and hopefully we’re in a position now where it’s not far away and we get a bit of clarity,” he told 3AW’s Wide World Of Sports.
