But there are some steps that can be taken to reduce the risk.

Leading breast cancer surgeon Dr Chantal Thornton says “many of the things we’re doing to ourselves are helping to cause breast cancer”.
“We can’t change our genetics and our family history but we can change our lifestyle to try and reduce our risk,” Dr Thornton said.
“It’s not rocket science.”
