Top roads cop’s message as long weekend begins with tragedy
It’s been a tragic start to the Easter weekend on the state’s roads, with a man killed a fiery crash at White Hills in Bendigo at about 3.15am.
Assistant Commissioner for road policing, Glenn Weir, says he’s significantly concerned about crashes into fixed objects on regional roads, and the wet weather makes the situation more risky.
