Premier Daniel Andrews will jet off to China today, and there’s something “a little unusual” about the trip.

On most international trips, politicians invite media, but none have been invited on this trip.

Nine News reporter Heidi Murphy says it’s “a little unusual”.

“It’s interesting he’s decided not to take the Education Minister or the Trade Minister with him, you’d think those couple of individuals with responsibilities for those portfolios, if that’s the aim, if that’s the thrust of the mission, that they’d be going as well,” she told Ross and Russel.
