Liberal MP Joe McCracken says he’s heartbroken by the week of controversy that’s surrounded his political party, opening up about his friendship with his colleague who has been at the centre of it all – Moira Deeming.

Mr McCracken told Neil Mitchell it had been a “really difficult week” and he’d hated the leaks that had come from inside the party room, with John Pesutto moving to expel Ms Deeming from the party.

“It breaks my heart, to be honest,” he said on 3AW.
