“My personal belief is I don’t think she’s a Nazi, and I don’t think she welcomed the Nazis at the rally,” the 3AW Drive host claimed.
“I think it’s unfair … for her to be kicked out of the Liberal party for doing this I think is an illiberal thing.”
Katherine Deves, who appeared at the rally on the weekend, spoke with Tom Elliott and took aim at John Pesutto and other male politicians who accused the women of aligning with the extremists.

“Those allegations are entirely defamatory,” Ms Deves told Tom Elliott, when asked if there were any links between Ms Deeming and the extremists.
“He’s absolutely not reading the room and he’s playing straight into the hands of these extreme left and extreme right who want to silence women.”
