Collingwood captain pays tribute to teammate after graphic injury sours huge first round win
Collingwood captain Darcy Moore has paid tribute to Jeremy Howe after the Pies rammed home eight unanswered goals to defeat Geelong by 22 points on Friday night.
Howe suffered a graphic arm injury after flying over the top of a pack in the opening minutes of the third quarter against Geelong and was taken from the MCG in an ambulance.
“It’s pretty distressing to see a teammate in that state,” Moore told 3AW Football after the match.
