A Reservoir man has been charged with the murder of his brother and attempted murder of his mother.

Shaun Sanderson, 32, was arrested in Preston at about 2.40pm on Wednesday, several hours after his 29-year-old brother and 65-year-old mother were found injured outside medical clinic on Willoughby Street, Reservoir.

The 29-year-old man died at the scene while the 65-year-old woman was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Police have this morning confirmed a 32 year old Reservoir man has been charged with murder and attempted murder.

He’s been remanded in custody to face court today.
