Former Australian batsman Brad Hodge has praised Australia’s test win over India in India.

The Australians won convincingly by nine wickets on day three of the test to bring the test series back to 2-1 in India’s favour.

It is Australia’s 14th test win in 53 attempts in India, marking a rare win in which Hodge sang the team’s praises.

“It was a monumental effort and to be able to get over the line today in testing conditions is a fantastic effort,” Hodge told 3AW’s Wide World of Sports.
