Ticketek is hoping to get its systems running smoothly tonight for the second Ed Sheeran concert.

It comes after an app meltdown last night left thousands of people queueing for paper tickets outside the MCG.

Angelica James, one of the people caught up in the Ticketek stuff-up, only made it inside seven minutes before the show started.

“I hadn’t even reached the MCG and it had already crashed,” she told Neil Mitchell.

“You just couldn’t get your barcode up and you couldn’t get your tickets printed, it was just a bit crazy.”

More than 105,000 tickets were sold for the show last night — an Australian record — and that will be beaten again tonight with 107,000 tickets sold.
