A Turkish journalist has shared a disturbing update on the earthquake crisis as the death toll surges.

Turkey’s death toll has risen to 9057, while the Syrian death toll is believed to be 2662.

Journalist at The Turkish Press, Ibrahim Haskoloğlu, says people are dying because there aren’t enough rescue teams.

“Under the rubble the people is (sic) dying,” he told Ross and Russel.

“We are waiting for more rescue teams from other countries.”
