RUMOUR CONFIRMED

Schoolchildren in Melbourne’s outer north-east have been left stranded on the side of roads because their school bus is too full.

On Thursday, the Rumour File was told 15 students were left on the side of the road in Yarra Glen.

State member for Eildon, Cindy McLeish, says a second overflow bus has been put on the route this morning to ensure no students are left behind.

‘There’s already one overflow bus with about 77 kids on it. An additional overflow bus was put on today and all of the kids were able to get a seat,” she told Ross and Russel.
