Collingwood fans can expect a captaincy call at the club shortly, with Darcy Moore, Taylor Adams, Jeremy Howe and Brayden Maynard shaping as the key candidates.

Mitch Cleary joined Sam McClure on 3AW’s Wide World Of Sports from the Magpies’ training camp at Lorne, pointing out Moore came second in the player vote last year behind Scott Pendlebury, who recently stood down after a club record stint at the helm.

“He is front of that queue right now,” he said.
