RED HOT TIP CONFIRMED

The federally-funded Keys2Drive program for learner drivers has been axed.

The program, which offers a free one-hour lesson providing driving advice to learners and advises parents and supervisors on how to teach them, will wind up at the end of March.

Driving instructor Joe Vella says “it’s more than a driving lesson”.

“It’s teaching them (parents and supervisors) how to teach the learner how to drive, how to teach them properly.”
