Former top 10 draft pick pulls pin on AFL career
Former top-10 draft pick, Fischer McAsey, has made the “difficult decision” to step away from the AFL.
The Adelaide Crow was granted personal leave last year so he could remain in Melbourne with his family.
He’s since informed the Crows he no longer has the passion to play and perform at the elite level.
He was taken with pick six in the 2019 national draft.
McAsey will be placed on Adelaide’s inactive list.
