There are concerns about the rising costs to stay in an Airbnb.

The initiative was marketed as a cheaper option than staying in a hotel.

Victorian Tourism Industry Council chief Felicia Mariani told Tony Jones, who is filling in for Neil Mitchell, she’s heard from many consumers unhappy about being charged with other fees.

“The price is not as cheap as it used to be,” she said.
