Tributes flow for Australian killed in Ukraine
The chairman of the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations, Stefan Romanov, has paid tribute to Australian Sage O’Donnell who was killed in Ukraine.
The circumstances of Mr O’Donnell’s death are not known.
“Sage had principals, had values – democracy, sovereignty – and was prepared to die for those,” Mr Romanov said on 3AW Mornings.
“And it just shows this Russian aggression, it affects everybody, even here in Australia.”
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) said it’s providing consular assistance to the family.
