Series of ‘quite significant collisions’ cause Melbourne traffic mayhem
A string of significant collisions across the city have caused mayhem on Melbourne’s roads this morning.
Three cars and a truck have collided on the Bolte Bridge. Only one city-bound lane is open and queues are banked back to Essendon Airport.
On the Princes Freeway in Berwick, ten cars have collided. Only one city-bound lane is open.
Meanwhile, there’s a serious crash on Wellington Road at Belgrave-Hallam Road in Belgrave south, and delays on the M80 Ring Road out onto the West Gate Freeway.
