Pre-poll rush: The huge number of Victorians who’ve already voted
More than a quarter of eligible Victorians have already cast their vote for Saturday’s state election.
Wednesday was the busiest day so far of pre-polling, with more than 200,000 people voting.
Over 1.6 million of Victoria’s 4.3 million enrolled voters have already cast their vote.
The most votes have been cast in the Labor held seat of Sydenham, where more than 17,000 voters have already had their say.
All the other electorates with more than 15,000 votes already in, are held by Labor, except for the independent-held seat of Morwell and the new seat of Greenvale.
