PHOTOS: Wild winds lash Victoria
Wild winds are lashing much of the state.
A severe weather warning is in place for damaging winds across almost the entire state. Winds averaging 50 to 70km/h with peak gusts of up to 110km/h are likely along most of the coast west of Wilsons Promontory. For the rest of the state, except for the far north-west, are expected to endure squally conditions, with gusts of up to 100km/h possible.
3AW listeners are reporting the winds are felling trees and damaging trucks.
In Eltham, a gumtree narrowly missed a house (below).
Meanwhile, in Merricks North a tree has fallen across Stanleys Road (below).
And a truck has been damaged by high-winds on the Hume Hwy at Craigieburn (below).
