Champagne sippers are being warned about the possibility of bubbles being in short supply this Christmas.

“It’s not as dire as people would imagine, but I think one of the main things you’ll see is that there won’t be so many bargain offers,” author and champagne guru, Jiles Halling, told Ross and Russel.

“There isn’t enough to go around to give it away at cheap prices.”
