The leader of the National Party says Australians should be “frightened” by what will happen to the price of meat and milk, should the government persist with new taxes on the agriculture industry.

“We are very nervous, as an agriculture industry, that this is a step towards what Netherlands have done and New Zealand is doing,” David Littleproud said on 3AW Drive.
