Former top cop Ken Lay to be named as chairman of Ambulance Victoria Board
FIRST ON 3AW: Former police commissioner Ken Lay will today be named as the new chairman Ambulance Victoria board.
Mr Lay revealed his new role on Neil Mitchell’s program this morning.
He will officially be appointed as chairman on December 1 and the state government will make announce the new role today.
Although the position is only part-time, Mr Lay said he will be a ‘hands on’ chairman with a particular focus on the health and welfare of paramedics.
