Melbourne Cup parade returns after three year COVID hiatus
The Melbourne Cup parade returns to the streets of Melbourne for the first time in three years, with some changes to the route of the parade.
The parade kicks off at midday today, starting at Hamer Hall instead of the Bourke Street Mall and finishing at Federation Square.
Today Show reporter, Christine Ahern, spoke to Ross and Russel on the details of the parade today.
“The Cup parade is always full of festivities, dancing and there’s going to be a little bit of a concert at Federation Square as well,” Ms Ahern said.
