Sydney livewire Lewis Jetta requests trade back to Western Australia
Sydney livewire Lewis Jetta has requested a trade back to Western Australia.
The Swans confirmed on Wednesday Jetta was seeking a move back home to be closer to his family.
West Coast and Fremantle now look set to battle it out for his services.
While disappointed, Sydney football manager Tom Harley said the club would now work to facilitate a trade.
‘The club has put a good offer to Lewis and while we are disappointed, we certainly understand the strong pull for him to return home to Western Australia with his young family,’ Harley said.
‘Lewis is not a free agent, so we will work on securing a fair trade for the Swans during the upcoming exchange period.’
