The staggering amount of potholes filled in Victoria in the past week
The Department of Transport says it has filled more than 20,000 potholes across Victoria in the past five days.
But authorities admit many will only be a “temporary” fix as floodwaters and rain create significant damage across the state.
“We’ve got a lot more crews out than we normally would,” Paul Northey, Chief Regional Roads Officer, told Neil Mitchell.
