Agricultural scams surge
Farmers are being urged to be cautious when buying new machinery due to a spike in scams targetting the agricultural sector.
Reports to the ACCC’s Scamwatch show farm businesses lost more than $1.2 million to scammers in the year to October – up 20% on 2021.
