A car has somehow ended up a tree in Oakleigh.

Neil Mitchell listener Craig couldn’t believe his eyes when he drove past the crash at Warrigal Rd about 9am this morning.

‘The gentleman who was the driver of the car was actually hanging out the door,’ Craig told Neil.

‘Everyone looks okay.’

Lanes were closed in both directions to salvage the car.

The circumstances of the crash are not yet clear.
